Ringette Ontario Fees - Multiple Roles
For those members registering for multiple roles, please review -
How Ringette Ontario Fees are Applied-
- RO membership fees - regardless if you have multiple roles, RO membership fees are to be paid for EACH role you register for 2022/23
- The RO insurance fee is a one time charge and covers all roles. Once paid, you will not be assessed this fee during subsequent registrations
- Based on how the RO fees are applied, it is best for a multiple role member (who is also a coach and or/board member with a promo code) to register first as a coach/board member and apply the promo code so that APRA covers your insurance expense.
Promo Code Supplied for Coaches and Board Member Registrations -
- Coaches and Board Members - the promo code given to coaches and board members only applies to RO fees applied for Coaching and Board Member registrations. These RO fees continue to be an expense we embed in the APRA registration fees that we are charging teams and players - RO will invoice APRA for these charges at a later date (i.e. APRA pays).
- Players - traditionally have paid their RO fees within their APRA registration fees, and APRA was later invoiced by RO. APRA has removed the RO Player fee portion from all registration fees and players are now to pay RO direct for these fees (i.e. Player pays).
- Referees - are to continue to register direct with RO and pay all applicable RO fees at that time. APRA will continue to reimburse our home association refs on the back-end for these RO fees (i.e. different process, but APRA still pays for Home Refs)
Note - APRA does not have visibility on how the RO promo codes have been set up on the system - if a person mistakenly applies it to other fields / other registrations and it ends up removing a fee that a member is responsible for paying, APRA will apply this fee on the system back-end to the member's registration profile.
